Busy Day in the Greenhouse

Today was definitely a busy day in the greenhouse. I had a lot of cleanup to do with the damaged plants. Many of the tomatoes and peppers just could not be saved, so they made their journey to the compost bin.

The cannas survived, but they don't look too pretty right now. There is all kind of new growth on them so I expect they will do fine.

I also added thermal mass to try to counteract the temperature drops and rearranged all the benches and plants. The door now sports a "porch" for those muddy days to take the golashes on and off.

The new solar-powered circulation fan when in to keep the air moving while the greenhouse is sealed up. This should also promote good plant health.

Then I planted a pot of white daffodils and two pots of strawberries. Busy, busy, busy!
